Textile Conservation
Saving 19th Century Samplers
With Fogg Art's 30 years of conservation experience.

Through the talents of the Costume Society of America,
Lincoln County Historical Association, and Fogg Art Restoration,
an important collection of 19th century Maine samplers
is being preserved for future generations.

Each sampler is placed in an acid-free frame environment,
using 100% cotton rag materials and museum glass
with a humidity controlling mylar barrier.

Fogg Art Restoration is known for their knowledge
of the proper handling and preservation of textiles.
