The team at Fogg Art Restoration are veterans in the field of conservation. We focus on oil painting restoration, frame repair, presentation of period textiles & objects and conservation framing. Working in the art materials and art conservation world since 1987, our theoretical and practical knowledge is strong.
Our skills have been developed through formal education in The United States and Europe as well as by working with mentors in the field. Our depth of knowledge is further strengthened by affiliations with The American Institute for Conservation, The National Art Materials Trade Association, The Society of Gilders and experience in our own private practice. We have participated in educational opportunities and done work at Sotheby’s, New York City; The Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.; The Center for Gilded Studies, New York City; The St. Louis Art Museum, St Louis, Missouri; and The Seattle Art Museum, Seattle, Washington. Our clients include individual collectors, insurance & moving companies, art & antique brokers, non-profit organizations, and private families from all over the United States and around the World.
